Who can enroll: Students 1st grade-12th grade

If you rehearse on Wednesdays - the first rehearsal is January 7, 2026.

If you rehearse on Sundays -- the first rehearsal is January 11, 2026.

• Returning students from our Fall 2025 season, please email us, but no need to wait for a reply - you may proceed to payment. 

• If you are new, please wait for confirmation (email us and wait for reply) before proceeding to payment. 

• Once tuition is paid, you will receive a link with a google form/waiver to fill out.  It may take a few days to receive the waiver link. Note: each show requires that you fill out a new waiver.

 

 

Spring 2026 rehearsals: January-early May 2026.

Performance dates: May 1, 2 & 3, 2026.

Age range of participants: 6-18 (1st grade to 12th grade)

Space is limited for ages 6-7. 

Note: we will allow a few 5-year-olds, but space is very limited (please email us).

 

Our shows are licensed through Music Theatre International, NY, NY. 

 

Spring 2026 Rehearsals:

Rehearsal location: Hermosa Beach Community Theatre & classrooms in the main hallway.

Each student comes once a week. You can choose to rehearse on either Wednesdays --or-- Sundays for the semester.

(you can do makeups on the opposite rehearsal day if needed).

If you choose to rehearse on WEDNESDAYS, here is the schedule:

Wednesday rehearsal time frame: 2:15-5:00pm

Wednesday rehearsal location:

Makeups: To make up any rehearsal you missed, you can always come on the opposite day you normally do. For example, if you normally rehearse on Wednesdays and you miss one, you can come on any Sunday to make it up -- just let us know you are coming.  You can also make up a Sunday rehearsal and come on a Wednesday, if needed.

Regular Wednesday rehearsals:

January 7, 14, 21, 28

February 4, 18, 25 (No rehearsal on Feb 11 due to HB & MB school holiday week)

March 4, 11, 18, 25

April 1, 15, 22, 28* (28th is also part of tech week) (No rehearsal April 8 due to spring break)

Tech week: April 26, 27, 28*, 29, 30, 2026 

Sunday April 26 through Thursday April 30 (all cast members attend tech week rehearsals) 

Performance dates: May 1, 2 & 3, 2026.  (Each cast member assigned two show times that weekend. No time requests allowed.)

 

If you choose to rehearse on SUNDAYS, here is the schedule:

Sunday rehearsal time frame: 

1:00pm-4:00pm (for Sunday students who are 1st grade-4th grade)

1:00pm-5:00pm (for Sunday students who are 5th grade-12th grade)

Tech week for all cast members: Sunday April 26-Thursday April 30 (exact times tba) 

Show days: each actor is assigned 2 show times during this weekend (no special time requests allowed): May 1, 2 & 3, 2026.

Rehearsal times: Wednesdays: 2:15pm to 5:00pm (all ages)

Students from all school districts can join us on Wednesdays --- or --- Sundays. 

 

Audition, casting and other information will be sent to the parents/guardians of enrolled students.

(buy any amount of tickets you wish - no minimum required).

Costume fee is typically $70 and up, depending on role(s) and tickets are general seating $15 per person (no minimum amount required).

HOW TO REGISTER:

• Please specify which rehearsal day your child will attend. 

• Include child's name, age, school, grade.

• If your child has been in our productions, you may go ahead and pay the price that is current. 

• Returning students have priority. 

• If you are new to Family Theatre, please wait to hear from us before you send your payment.

• We do not pro-rate, but students are allowed to start late, if necessary.  They may do makeups on the opposite rehearsal day.

• Note: Most people pay tuition in full, but if you choose to do a payment plan, please work out the details with us via email. You may not freeze a sale price with a payment plan. A payment plan only works with the full tuition price of $995 (not the flash sale and not the early bird sale). So, the grand total paid to us with your payments must total $995 (regular price). All payments must be finalized by April 15, 2026. The first payment must be at least $300.

REFUND POLICY:

Spring 2026 refund policy: Cancellations must be within 72 hours of purchase. 

Refunds only allowed until January 1, 2026 and will include a $35 admin fee and card processing fees. 

You will receive a show credit for any future production if you cancel after January 1, 2026.
