Craig grew up in Southern California and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from USC Film School. He studied writing, acting, theatre and film making. Craig met Suzanne while working for NBC studios in Burbank. (He still considers that better than meeting Pat Sajak or even Johnny Carson!) Craig went on to work in film production for Warner Bros. prior to earning his law degree from The John Marshall School of Law in Chicago (now UIC). After performing and sitting on the board of directors for a Los Angeles-area theatre group, Craig saw the need for a youth/family theatre company in the South Bay. The Greelys are longtime Hermosa Beach residents and they received an overwhelming response from the community when they produced Cinderella, Annie and Aladdin at the Hermosa Beach Playhouse (now called Hermosa Beach Community Theatre) in 2007. Craig's favorite stage roles include Bill Sykes in Oliver!, Albert Peterson in Bye Bye Birdie (at The Colony Theatre in Burbank) and Oliver Warbucks in Annie at The Colony & The Hermosa Beach Playhouse. In addition to embarrassing his children by singing and dancing in public, Craig has played ice hockey since he was 5 and now enjoys coaching his kids in hockey, basketball and baseball. Craig has been on the board of the Hermosa Arts Foundation for several years and is now President of HAF.
Suzanne is the proud wife of Craig and mother of Clementine, Dashiell, Dalton & Granger. Her second favorite job is owner and producer of Family Theatre, Inc. After graduating with a degree in Radio-TV-Film from The University of Texas at Austin, Suzanne moved to Los Angeles and met Craig on her first day at NBC Studios. She then pursued a journalism career and became an award winning television news reporter/anchor and host for several years in three different states. Suzanne left the news business when she was expecting their first child. The Greelys returned to So. California and settled back down in their Hermosa Beach home. They have been active in the community ever since. Suzanne is from a big family and has worked with and helped children in several capacities since her teenage years. She has appeared in many theatre productions and loves putting a show together. Suzanne especially enjoyed playing the role of Grace Farrell in Annie, alongside Craig & their children in 2007. She and Craig played leads in Bye Bye Birdie, but now she much prefers being behind the scenes. She loves to see the cast members have fun in rehearsals and on stage. Her theatre inspiration comes from her late father, Jack, who played many roles in Houston musical theatre for several years. Some of her favorite Broadway classics include The Sound of Music, South Pacific and The Boyfriend.
Hillary got her BA in Dance from Loyola Marymount University with a concentration in Teaching and Choreography. She spent 5 years performing professionally around the world... some of her professional credits include Disneyland's High School Musical, Fantasmic, and The Parade of Dreams, a dancer on Holland America Cruise Lines, and numerous performances in New York City, where she spent 3 years pursuing her Musical Theater dreams before moving back to California. Hillary has been choreographing FTI's musicals since 2011. Hillary, her husband Joe, daughter Molly and son Cal live in Redondo Beach. Hillary owns Shine Society Fitness.
Hope was born and raised in Kansas City, MO where she began dancing at age 5. Hope performed in a variety of community and professional performances including some with The Moscow Ballet and Hubbard Street Dance. Additionally, Hope also began teaching and choreographing for non profits, elementary schools and local theater companies throughout her time in KC.
After moving to Chicago, Hope earned her BA in Dance from Columbia College Chicago. Upon graduating, Hope pursued many performance opportunities while also starting the dance departments for The British International School of Chicago, teaching students 2-12 years old. During her time there, she was also a foundational member in creating and developing the arts partnership with Juilliard.
Currently, Hope is living in Los Angeles with her husband and works full time as the Admissions Manager for the CLI Conservatory located in Massachusetts. In addition to her choregraphing experience with local community theater in the Valley, Hope has been choreographing Family Theatre Inc. shows since 2018.
Assistant Teacher - Vocals & Acting
Sarah is currently working toward her associates degree in theatre arts at El Camino College. At the age of 15, she joined Family Theatre Inc. as "Cogsworth" in Beauty and the Beast. Sarah met some of her closest friends through acting in short films, improv class and being in shows. She hopes everyone who follows in the same path can find a second family, as she has. Acting is truly her home away from home. Some of Sarah's favorite roles have been Fiona in Shrek, Elsa in Frozen and Mary Poppins. Sarah loves to help out with Family Theatre Inc. productions and classes.
